About

I’m a professional longarm machine quilter with decades of experience. Along the way I’ve earned several awards with my clients, including two Grand Champion ribbons from the Washington State Fair. I live on an island in Puget Sound and can hear the ferry blasts from my house. My studio takes a good portion of the lower portion of the house, which my husband and daughter put up with rather gracefully. And I have a few Shelties to help me round up errant bolts of fabric.

My background is in engineering, editorial, and textile arts, with an emphasis on the art of repeating patterns. I love good tools, and especially embrace techniques that can save time. Scrap quilts are my favorite and I love the challenge of combining different types of fabrics into the same design.

I also design quilting patterns for Urban Elementz, and you can find my designs under my name on their website www.urbanelementz.com.
